Brit Brief Open Post – Lady Gabriella Windsor Wedding

Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, married Mr. Thomas Kingston at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. It was a private wedding, but a large assortment of royals turned out for the event, including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

Lady Gabriella wore a lace open necked dress by Luisa Beccaria. Town and Country described the dress as, “…lace that is then embroidered with flowers and embellishments. The front of the dress is quite pure and fluid, while the back of the dress is more dramatic—the skirt fans out into a long train.”

I am not entirely sure I will get buy-in on this at all, but I feel a bit of homage to Aunt Alexandra here.

The bride’s full face veil was anchored by the Kent City of London fringe, also worn by her Aunt Alexandra on her wedding day.

The child attendants, who included her nieces Maud and Isabella Windsor, wore dresses designed by Luisa Beccaria as well. They were made from eight layers of powder pink tulle and organza, finished with floral motifs. The three pageboys wore Mikado suits.
