Britain

Busy day for Charles

Now I’m not saying he’s at Anne levels of busy-ness…but he was getting it done yesterday.

Starting at Buckingham Palace in the morning with an investiture…

MBE recipient Melissa Mead, awarded for her work raising the awareness of sepsis.
Constable Jessica Bullough, who was one of the first responders after the attack at the Manchester Arena.
Rower Frances Houghton with her MBE. Frances has won 4 world titles, 3 Olympic Silver medals, and is the first British woman to be selected for 5 Olympic Games!

When Charles was done handing out goodies at Buck Palace, he headed up to Lambeth Palace for the Cranmer Awards, an annual contest organized by the Prayer Book Society.

And this is quite a throwback, Charles, who is the Patron of the Prayer Book Society, handed out the awards at the First Cranmer Awards, back in 1989!
