I think we can all agree that there are worse things than sharing Hump Day with an update from Bhutan.
A very happy birthday to the ever serene and gorgeous Dragon Queen. She turned 29 on June 4. Also – earring alert.

“Today, let us renew our pledge to fulfill our individual duties, to keep our surroundings clean and aesthetically pleasing, the benefits of which will extend to a sense of wellbeing and happiness that we all undoubtedly feel in beautiful spaces.” – Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, June 2, 2019. Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen is the Royal Parton of the National Environment Commission and Ozone Ambassador to the UN. #HerMajesty #Gyaltsuen #DrukGyaltsuen #QueenJetsunPema #QueenofBhutan #TheRoyalFamilyofBhutan
I found this information about the Royal Mobile Court fascinating! It sounds both grueling and involving, and really shows what a committed monarch Bhutan has in Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
I don’t know what prompted this sweet tribute from the King, but I am all here for it.
“People might think that my queen should be highly educated, beautiful and the best of the best. Jetsun Pema is a kind-hearted girl who is very supportive and whom I can trust. I cannot say how she might appear to the people, but to me, she is the one.”

And who can’t use a dose of Gyalsey?
Don’t you all feel better now?
