There’s so much going on in Great Britain, let’s not ignore the fact that Max and Mathilde, the MM Queens, have been out and about and busy as bees.
Maxima and her handsome partner Wax were on a two-day visit to the German states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg. Max wore a repeated chiffon dress, sprinkled with woven dots, by Saloni Lodha. I have always loved this colorful entry. If you click through the slideshow you will also see another repeat from 2017, an outfit by Mattijs van Bergen’s Photo to Fashion collection. The combination of the collarless blazer with the light organza skirt makes for a zingy contrast. I find the embroidered lily to be such a Max touch. She accessorized with stonking pearls and topped it all with a Fabienne Delvigne cocktail hat.
Max and Wax blew into a visit to Volucap Studio in Rostock, Germany. Max wore – well, you guess the designer ; ).
Mathilde has been all about the florals lately. Taking a page from Mette Marit’s book, she wore a flowing, bohemian dress by Giorgi Armani to the first session of the final Queen Elisabeth Competition . I like the fabric, although maybe there is a little too much of it. Clicking through the slide show you’ll see she continued her floral streak with a new bold sheath from Erdem. I think this one is a win for Tils. Perfect for attending a lunch meeting with the jury members of the competition.
Bonus Astrid sighting! I don’t know much about her ensemble, but we’ll just leave it with “it’s good to see her.”
So, what do you think? Do you like Tils on her mad floral tear? Approve of Max’s entries during her German working interlude? Let us know in the comments!
