Catching Up With: The Yorks – March Edition

What have the Yorks been up to this month? A LOT. They really do try to get out there and March was no exception. From International Women’s Day, to charity film premieres, to Hospital plaque unveilings, they were Out. And.About.

First up the Global Thinkers Forum. Bea headed up the panel discussion in New York, while Euge took in the London panel.

Bea also gave a keynote address in her position as SIGI (Social Institutions and Gender Index) ambassador, at the The Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development in Paris.

Eugenie was at the UK premier of “Sharkwater Extinction” on March 12th. She is an ambassador for the global ocean charity “Project Zero”, and met with Sandy Stewart, the mother of late director Rob Stewart, who died while filming. The Sharkwater project must have struck a cord with her, as she also recently attended the premier of the movie in Hong Kong.

And finally the whole York family was out for an engagement (even Jack!) at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Andrew is patron of the hospital, and he was there to open the new Stanmore Building. Euge, who had her scoliosis surgery at the hospital at the age of 12, was also named as the patron of the RNOH Charity. Eugenie mentioned how much the hospital and staff still mean to her during her speech, and said that she felt it was very important for Jack to see where she had had such a life changing surgery.

Father and daughter unveiled a plaque. Little video of the unveiling.

So there’s your monthly York Report. Can’t wait to see what April has in store.
