Many of you – including some of my fellow Hofdames – predicted this final two pairing. I was sort of holding out for a lace-y entry, but I will have to content myself with an heirloom lace veil. Not to mention some gorgeous train action.

The community has spoken and we have an all Scandinavian final. A neck-in-neck race, too, since each gown has its very strong supporters. You undecideds? You folks who were voting for other entries all along? This is your chance to make your mark and throw yourself in with your more favored wedding ensemble.
If this is all just too predictable for you, next week we start the “Road Less Traveled” wedding poll and you’ll get a chance to nominate gowns and royals who you think have been overlooked. This, however, is the favorites time to shine.
The rules this time around are as follows: One vote! One chance to take the poll! It’s going to be all over by Sunday night at midnight EDT so we can cheer the winner on Monday’s Bits.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit/Ove Harder Finseth
She’s pretty much led the pack throughout our voting process, so that means this gown has strong, strong support. However, it’s not over until it’s over, so don’t get complacent or dejected.

Here are some blog posts if you really want to deep dive into every aspect of the gown:

Crown Princess Victoria/Pär Engsheden
Ahem, the Scandinavian country to the east is saying: not so fast! I have my supporters too. This has been an insanely popular gown – indeed an insanely popular wedding look since the 2010 nuptials.
