Great Wedding Gown Game – Trains: Final Two

Well Baguettes, you have done it. You have picked a final two where I will not be able to vote because I cannot decide which is the winner. They are both that good.

Here they are, our top two:

Manuel Pertegaz (Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano)

I’m dropping what LuckeyGirl posted last week, since she says it all.

Designed by Manuel Pertegaz in a gown cut continuously from shoulder to the floor, the slim gown flows into a magnificent almost 15′ (4.5 m) long train; which is embroidered with Fleur de Lys, clovers, strawberry tree fruits, and ears of wheat.

Sarah Burton/McQueen (Catherine Middleton)

Catherine’s gown had many signature McQueen elements. Sarah Burton included corsetry with padded hips which displayed the skirt “in the shape of an opening flower”. The train itself was attached with a folded bustle. The entire affair is 2 meters 70 centimeters, or about 8 feet 10 inches, which is beautifully proportioned for both the venue, Westminster Abbey, and for the dress itself.

We’ll see if you guys can choose! We’ll leave this open until next Wednesday at noon.
