Greetings Baguettes and Hofdudes! Was last week busy or what? Worth every crazy second, in my opinion. We have another royal convergence tomorrow: the Queen Consort is hosting a reception at Buckingham Palace for UN’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The expected royal guests are the Countess of Wessex, Queen Rania of Jordan, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. We will have an Open Post for that event.
News Round Up
Iselen does a great job of keeping us updated all week on the Spanish royals, but in case you missed it, they were busy as usual last week. That’s not all – King Harald was out and about and Max was on a tear. See the images at Getty here.

Here’s a quick catch up on the rest of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Victoria’s trip to Kenya.
On the fourth day of the trip, the two attended a business forum, visited the One Africa Building, and ended the day with an official reception at the Swedish embassy. Victoria wore her pink Camilla Thulin in the morning, and changed into two different By Malina dresses for the afternoon and evening events.
The Crown Princess wore her Rodebjer top and skirt with her Adidas sneakers for her final day of activities on the visit. (H/T to UFO NoMore).
Sport is one of those reliably popular royal events, even in glitzy Monaco. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the 2022 World Rugby Awards last week. Char went for Dior-esque (and kind of Grace Kelly-esque) look with her dressy evening skirt and blouse.

Do you love Christmas? Do you look forward to the Nutcracker every year? Then I have good news for you – if you ever meet Queen Margrethe and Queen Sonja you will have something to talk about.
The two Queens, along with Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, and the two youngest children (mini-mes of their parents) attended the Nutcracker at Tivoli last weekend. I love Josephine’s very arty ensemble. There is some style promise there.

It was a girl’s night out in the Netherlands as Queen Maxima and Princess Beatrix attended the Conductor Klaus Makela Concert At The Concertgebouw.
There were a little lady royal sparkle pants for you. Courtesy of our Hofdude Triple A, we know Max’s fancy new brooch is by Zara, so you, too, can afford it.
I was struck by this photo of Gayatri Devi, the Rajmata of Jaipur, looking just like us with her soda and straw (except for all the glamour ; ). Our Baguette Lady M wrote a wonderful Pocket Profile of her a couple of years ago!
Gayatri Devi, the Rajmata of Jaipur, had appeared twice in the Guinness Book of World Records: once indirectly, for partaking in the most expensive wedding in the world (that of her stepdaughter’s), and the second time, when she won by a majority of 175, (1/2) pic.twitter.com/APMn2SFBz9
