March will come roaring in like a lion this week, at least in my neck of the woods. Hope you are seeing signs of spring if you are in the northern hemisphere!
Here is an interesting fact about Westminster Abbey! Follow their account for small pieces of useful info leading up to the coronation. Short enough to keep your attention but definitely intriguing.
I know we have been yammering around here (but in a charming way) about the need for some imaginative redos of the Princess of Wales maternity wear. Lo and behold, she wore a re-worked version of her Catherine Walker maternity coat to the Wales v England Six Nations Rugby Game. I love this coat and am beyond happy to see it again. The Princess is the patron of England Ruby. Prince William is the patron of Welsh Rugby, and it looks as if he is wearing the team tie here.
I feel as if we haven’t been keeping up with this cadet branch of the House of Glücksburg. The Queen did have her back surgery last week and is reported to be recovering. In the meantime, the Crown Prince and Princess attended the Danish Parliament’s service marking one year since the start of the Ukraine conflict. Mary wore a coat by the The Fold, which she belted with a narrow Celine belt. Brooch babes, any idea on that pin she’s wearing?
The couple has now left for an official visit to India. Here is a photo that you can add to your collection of “Royal Couples Posed in Front of the Taj Mahal” folder! We’ve seen the Crown Princess in this Etro skirt before, paired with a different shirt.
Sweden also held a service to mark one year since the invasion of Ukraine. Queen Silvia re-wore one of my favorite of her Georg et Arend dress/blazer combinations. The Crown Princess wore her much beloved and much worn H & M pleated skirt (actually teal, not black) and paired it with her Tiger of Sweden blazer. Princess Sofia wore a corduroy dress by The Vampire’s Wife.
Drop all your royal news in the comments! We are all ears.
