Lots of royals we haven’t seen in a while, including Princesses Margriet and Beatrix, are out and about and back to royaling. See it all here.

Back in the Bag

Two years ago on Sweden’s National Day, Victoria wore one of my favorite florals from Rodejber.

Sweden

Of course, National Day has rolled around again in Sweden. There were a few more activities this year, which is nice to see. The family photos are wholesome good fun as usual.

Malaysia

Speaking of Sweden’s National day, you never know where it will pop up. The wife of Malaysia’s Crown Prince is carrying some of her culture across the globe using local components, Malaysian batik and Songket.

Britain

For those of us still puzzling over how the train on Diana’s wedding dress was attached, Getty has photographs from every angle. Here, too. I still wasn’t able to suss it out, though. The exhibition “Royal Style in the Making” is now open at Kensington Palace.

Everyone must have heard but I’ll say it anyway. Baby Girl Sussex has been born (Friday, June 4th) and named after our blog. Such an honor. I kid, of course, she was named after her great-grandmother and late grandmother. Welcome to the world, new young royal.

Bhutan

Queen Jetsun Pema attended a scaled back World Environmental Day event. The theme for 2021 is “Ecosystem Restoration”, something that the nation of Bhutan is committed to. The event is celebrated not only by the government, but in schools and in businesses.

Belgium

I’m worried that our Tils is going to have withdrawal from Matching Mask Syndrome, folks! I like the polka dots, though, a pattern that I feel in criminally underused in fashion. The blouse is by Esmerald Ammoun, and the best little white handbag is by Dior. Close-ups here, at ModekoninginMathilde.

Norway

What a nice Mette Marit sighting! The Crown Prince and Princess attended the opening of Hope Cathedral, looking incredibly happy and relaxed. Summer is Scandinavia will do that for you, I guess. Mette-Marit is wearing a Pia Tjelta summer dress.

Netherlands

Such spectacular Classic Princessing must not go uncommented on, right? I love Princess Margriet’s floral skirt and her handsome boyfriend. Relationship goals, there. The couple attended the farewell lecture of professor Keunen last week.
