I’m not wasting time babbling today, there’s too much going on. Let’s put the pedal to the metal and tear through this news.

King Willem-Alexander opened the (Dutch) National Holocaust Memorial, Queen Sofia cleaned up, and the Duke and Duchess of Rothesy visited the Isle of Skye. All here.
Britain
Last week could be subtitled: British Royals in the News.
As everyone, royal-watcher or not, is probably aware, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were named two of the 100 Most Influential People, an annual Time Magazine honor. Congratulations to the duo as they continue on their new endeavors.
“In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle,” writes @chefjoseandres #TIME100 https://t.co/2Cg39BKj1B pic.twitter.com/FhFmAW9UH1

Rested from her summer, the Countess of Wessex has been on a tear lately. She also unveiled a new portrait wearing the Order of St. John and a new sculpture which was done last year in front of a live virtual audience.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended the 81st Anniversary Service of Thanksgiving and Rededication at Westminster Abbey. The Duchess wore a her shades of blue and white coat – previously worn at Ascot – and her four strand pearl choker with the small diamond clasp.
Luxembourg
We decided on ChuckaLux for his Baguette nickname, but there are no rules here so call him Karel, Cheeky Charles, CharlieLux, or even his given name Prince Charles in the comments. Just don’t ever call this lad unhappy because he is all smiles all the time. Nice check on him, too.
I feel like we haven’t seen much of Maria Teresa lately, so here she is. I think that duster was probably magnificent close up.
Denmark
Mary’s been back from Milan for a couple of weeks, but I was so sad to miss this polka dot dress that I feel we had to circle back and appreciate it. It’s Carolina Hererra, and full length photos can been viewed here.
Let’s take a gander at some Classic Princessing at its very best. Of course it’s Benedikte, holding a press conference for Queen Ingrid’s 2022 Honorary Scholarship.
Netherlands
Once again, we are all in for a treat thanks to our lovely Hofdude Triple A and his many connections! *Another* friend of his, Albert Nieboer , captured the Classic Dutch Princess Beatrix at a recent event and has allowed us to use the photos. Once again, please enjoy them here and do not reproduce them elsewhere, as they are the property of the photographer.
Princess Beatrix OMA attended the opening of the Safe Veste of care organization Fier in Capelle aan den IJssel. Fier is a national center of expertise and treatment in the field of violence in dependency relationships. Fier combines specialized care in a safe and protected environment with a knowledge function. In addition to treatment, Fier also supports clients in building a normal life, establishing healthy relationships and creating a social safety net.
Spain
Queen Letizia appeared at the Famelab Scientific Monologues Contest Final. Her leather dress is from &Other Stories (Thanks, Iselen!)
Queens-in-Training
This is just a lovely, lovely photo of two families on a weekend break together, who just happened to have four future queens in the frame (and a future King, and a couple of extra cool royals hanging around).
Germany
Princess Alessandra of Hanover attended the Jorge Vazquez fashion show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid September 2021 at Mandarin Ritz Hotel on September 15, 2021. She is the wife of Prince Christian of Hanover, sister-in-law of Princess Alexandra of Hanover, and the daughter-in-law of Ernst August of Hanover. She is an attorney and handbag designer, who you might remember wearing the magnificent Hanover Floral tiara on her wedding day.
Tiaras in the Wild
We try to stay with royal-only coverage here, but we have had such a dearth of diadems these past few years I feel whenever we see one we should honor it.
I’m all for tiaras breaking free of the royal world, and breaking free of conventional forms. Both things happened at the Met Gala last week. Also, I love any and all celestial decoration, so you know I am entranced by this. The stars in this Fred Leighton tiara were set free from their frame and landed gently in the lovely do of Simone Biles.

Upcoming Events
Yes, our Open Wedding Post disappeared last weekend. No mystery there, it’s just that we had the wrong information on one of the wedding dates. The actual schedule is below, and there are three royal weddings next weekend. The post will reappear for your chatting pleasure!
🚨 Update on this 🚨
Princess Marie-Astrid & Rafe will marry in Capalbio on 25th September, contrary to initial reports that they would have married on 18th Sept in Rome. This means that we will have 3 royal weddings next weekend 😱 it’s going to be great, get ready for it! 🤩👑 https://t.co/JRt6FGxhYZ— CoutureAndRoyals (@CoutureRoyals) September 20, 2021
One more piece of potential good news. Let’s keep an eye on this one!
There are reports that #KingFelipe and #QueenLetizia will be undertaking a visit to Sweden this #fall. It has not been confirmed as the final decision depends upon the situation with COVID in both countries.

Whew, that was a long one. Thanks for hanging in to the end. As always, if you have royal comments, this is the place to leave them!
