Happy Valentine’s Day week for those who celebrate – or care – about such things! We send all our Baguettes and Hofdudes Valentine wishes during this love-themed week.
Britain
Isn’t this a pretty emblem? It really expresses Charles’ love of gardening and plants. It’s exuberant, too! Nice and joyful!

We haven’t spent much time with the Countess of Wessex in 2023, but she hasn’t slowed down. Here she visited the Scar Free Foundation, sporting a new haircut and a Helmut Lange blazer.
π©βπ¬ This week, The Countess of Wessex marked @WomenScienceDay with a visit to @RCSnews, as Patron of @scarfreeworld.
HRH met with female scientists and women with experience of scarring to discuss research that @scarfreeworld is conducting at universities in the UK and the @NHS. pic.twitter.com/5mPU6pr1Vd

Monaco
Here is a mini-re-wear, boot-style. Their Serene Highnesses prepared for International Women’s Day by visiting a street fair. The Princess looked appropriately arty in head to toe black, re-wearing her thigh high boots from her visit to New York last year.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene participated in the preparations for the #8MarsMonaco operation (International Women's Rights Day) by creating their works with the artist Mr OneTeas who will join those of the children of the Principality. pic.twitter.com/rF6ZRfMIZU

Japan
There were a couple of kimono outings in Japan last week. The Emperor and Empress met with the Philippine first couple, and the formal occasion brought out a lovely kimono.

This is a nice dose of anticipatory springtime. We do not see Hisako doing a lot of events with her daughters, but this appearance with Noriko is a joy. Hisako is dressed as her usual exuberant self. I really want to know more about her necklace. Noriko is sporting a great haircut, and just look at that corsage!
February 8: Princess Takamado (Hisako) and 2nd daughter Noriko Senge attended the Japan Grand Prix International Orchid & Flower Show 2023 "Festival of Flowers and Greenery" at Tokyo Dome Prism Hall.

The Netherlands
The “real” jewels won our best accessory category in last Friday’s Dutch Tour poll, so let’s check on one we missed. This Floating Lotus ring was a royal share. It appears Amalia borrowed one of Max’s rings during the trip (we know she loves to check out her mother’s jewelry box).
Op Sint Eustatius droeg Amalia een iconische ring van @SteltmanDenHaag. Hier lees je er meer over:https://t.co/3oyV16thgL
