It’s been a while since we’ve broken out the Hoover, so let’s get those pearls on and have a go!
1.) Another big “Thank You!” to those of you who have shared their stories with us via “The Guest Post”. Elizabeth, geogirl, Iselen, Jane Maple, Lady M, Marina J., Robin, Royal Warren(t), Triple A, Triple Duchess, and Wendy 1 have provided us with some new twists on old subjects, a few new people to meet, and many a deep rabbit hole to tumble down. If you have missed any of their contributions, or would simply like to reread a favorite, go here to find what you’re looking for. If you have something you think the group would enjoy reading about, drop us a note at lilibetshandbag@gmail.com. We’d be happy to help you get the word out to your fellow Baguettes.
2.) As you know, SPAM has become a big issue here at The Bag. That has unfortunately required us to throw all posts containing links into moderation. While we continue to encourage you to link to things you think we’d all enjoy, please understand that it might take awhile for us to get around to releasing it to the rest of the group. If it’s something that just can’t wait, you can always point us in the general direction by telling us where you found it, and we can go digging for it ourselves.
3.) This brings us to our biggest Dust Bunny – The Sussexes. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you all know they are about to “tell all” to Oprah. We WILL NOT be discussing that here. “No Drama” is right there in our banner, and when we say no drama, we mean no drama. (Unless it’s historical drama. Like, 100 years ago we caught a glimpse of Queen Mary’s left ankle, and OMG!) There are plenty of other sites out there where you can discuss the interview, so we ask that you take your conversations there. It hasn’t happened here yet, but we refuse to let this site turn into a war zone with encroachers coming in, leaving crumbs on our sofas, and water-rings on our nice furniture. If you’ve been around long enough, you know that plenty of royal bloggers threw their hands up in the air, and their blogs out of the window, rather than combat all of the craziness. We don’t want that to happen here.
