Colombian State Visit to Spain
His Excellency the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, will pay a State visit to Spain from 2 to 5 May.
The President of the Republic and his wife will be received by their Royal Majesties, who will host a Gala Dinner in their honour on 3 May. During his stay in Spain, the President of Colombia will hold a private meeting with HM the King and a meeting with the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.
The President of Colombia will speak before the Cortes Generales (Parliament), meeting in joint session, and will receive the Medals of the Congress and the Senate, from the presidents of both chambers, Meritxel Batet and Ander Gil, respectively. He will also visit Madrid City Hall, where Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida will hand him the Golden Key to the City of Madrid.

Welcome Ceremony
President Gustavo Petro and Veronica Alcocer are welcomed by the King and Queen at the Royal Palace. The Queen is wearing a repeated Sfera guipure dress, and in a new twist on royal shares has borrowed shoes from Leonor (H/T to Iselen!). That lower heel is a nice change.
I know it’s been said that there is no coordination between royal women as far as apparel goes. Still, between this brilliant white combo and the blue in Estonia, I think the personal assistants do compare notes.
State Banquet
We were blessed in triplicate this Wednesday before the coronation! We have seen three tiaras in two days (see Queen Silvia last night and tonight below for the other two outings). Queen Letizia wore the Spanish Floral tiara with a red peplum gown for the banquet. Read the comments for background information on Queen Ena’s ribbon brooches from our expert Iselen. These items made their debut on Queen Letizia tonight.
Veronica Alcocer brought some cape action to the proceedings, too.
Official Return Reception
Ah, a return reception! The royalty gods are smiling upon us. Veronica Alcocer went very colorful, and the Queen went very – well, not colorful. Letizia is wearing a dress by And Me Unlimited, paired with her gold Magrit pumps.
Swedish State Visit to Estonia
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden will pay a State Visit to Estonia on May 2, 3, and 4, 2023, at the invitation of His Excellency President Alar Karis. The State Visit will take place in Tallinn and Tartu.

Arrival
The King and Queen have arrived! If you wanted an old-school royal appearance, the Queen has delivered, complete with a brimmed hat and brooch.

Gala
It was a blue night for both ladies! The Queen is wearing a repeated blue Camilla Thulin gown.

Day Two and Return Banquet
The King and Queen visited the Gustav Adolf Grammar School, established in the seventeenth century by King Gustav II of Sweden. Silvia again shows impeccable Queening skills here – note the neatly knotted scarf, sharp short-handled coordinating bag, and brooch details.
There was a delightful surprise, too, a return banquet! Those have been thin on the ground in recent years. So Silvia had a rare two-tiara trip!

Day Three
The royal couple concluded their visit to Estonia in Tartu. They traveled with the presidential couple by train to their destination and provided ample photos of the visit. The Queen wore her “Flavia” Georg et Arend suit, and I can firmly say this was a stellar state visit by Silvia all around. That’s how you do Queening.
