Previous Years
2020, White and Gold McQueen (re-wear)
2019, White One-Shoulder McQueen
2018, Green Jenny Packham
I’ve never seen this from behind!
2017, Floral McQueen
2023 BAFTAs
It’s royal re-wear time – the Princess of Wales wore the Alexander McQueen dress from 2019 (with a little re-design in the shoulder area), carried an Alexander McQueen clutch, wore Aquazurra gold pumps and earrings from Zara. I personally don’t find this that cohesive, so for me Prince William wins it all in his velvet jacket. I am staring at him.

To say there was a collective groan among Baguettes when the Princess debuted her ensemble for this year is an understatement. Honestly, if she wanted to wear black gloves for a different look, I get it. However, just off the top of my head I can think of several gowns that would work better for that look – some with a few alterations, some as is. Let us know what you think!
