I was going to wait until tomorrow to discuss this event, however, we are so deprived of glamour that we may as well talk about it in real-time. Tonight the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will attend the world premiere of “No Time to Die” at the Royal Albert Hall.
And thank heavens I opened this post because if the comments are any indication, the excitement simply couldn’t be contained until tomorrow. Let’s start with most senior royal.
Prince Charles looks happy to be out and about and supporting movie houses across Britain.
The Duchess of Cornwall, channeling Princess Elsa, sparkled from head to toe. Thanks to Dalloway and Triple Duchess in the comments (waves wildly) we know the Duchess is wearing the Marie-Louise Diamond Sunray brooch sans pendant. It hasn’t been seen in donkeys years (reportedly since the seventies) so that’s quite a nice surprise.
I’m chuckling because there are no photos of William without his lovely wife. Understandable considering the glam power of the event. Let’s pause and appreciate him anyway. He looks nice, right? Thanks to Incognita below, I think we can confirm the jacket is velvet. But onward…
I know who you are REALLY dying to talk about. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in by far her most glamorous gown to date. It’s a sparkling Jenny Packham, which includes some very sheer and delicate cape action. You have to step back to appreciate the full, floating effect of it. Elie Saab is somewhere weeping right now.
The massive danglers that are yet to be identified are a repeat of what she wore in Pakistan. Made by Pakistani designers in the UK – O’nitaa London (thank you to OzinLA in the comments!), they mirror the sunray detail in the center of the gown.
Of course, she has a soft, glamorous updo to top it all off.
I’m sprinkling a few stars in here because I didn’t realize how badly I needed a film premiere until I got a film premiere. Let’s soak it all in.
Drop your photos and comments as the fun unfolds!
