The royal line-up has been announced for today’s Buckingham Palace Garden Party, the second of the season. Since it includes the Duchess of Cambridge we’ve pulled the conversation out of Bits and provided you this Open Post.

And they’re off…
The Duchess is wearing a coral version of the Emilia Wickstead we have seen in green and blue. Yes, at times the skirt is swishier but it’s all the same silhouette. She added her pink Jane Taylor hat for that finishing Garden Party touch.
Princess Alexandra is a vision in pink, of course. Garden parties are her thing. She’s of the generation that doesn’t wear clothes identified by the designer (I always suspect there is some discreet dressmaker on her payroll), but let’s just say she’s very much herself.
Sophie is wearing the Erdem ‘Yusra’ dress, Prada pumps, the Jane Taylor ‘Moselle’ hat in white, Sophie Habsburg ‘Moneypenney’ clutch, and she accessorized with some G. Collins & Sons ‘Infinity’ earrings. (HUGE H/T to Polka Popp)
