This post is open for photos of the annual British royal Christmas walk in Sandringham, as well as for sightings of the Danish and Norwegian royals, should we be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of them. We’ll update as we have time, but please feel free to add photos in the comments.
For those who are celebrating today, many Merry Christmas wishes to you!

Joachim, Marie and children attending services (last night, I believe). Marie in Hugo Boss. Princess Marie’s Closet promises to have a post up today, going into detail with some clearer photos.

Note: There has been some sad news out of Norway today. Ari Behn, the former husband of Princess Märtha Louise of Norway has died. Ween has some additional information in the comments. There is also an article in English, here.
Good to see that both Mette-Marit and Harald were well enough to participate in services this morning. Also – Marius sighting and a nice return of the burgundy boots!
Durek Verrett surprised everyone when he appeared in Holmenkollen Chapel on Christmas day, where the royal couple attended the annual holiday celebration.
This is the first time the King has appeared in public since it became known that he was on sick leave last week. pic.twitter.com/N9IesXBo8g

Kongeparet deltok på julegudstjeneste i Holmenkollen kapell i dag. De har tradisjon for å dra hit 1. juledag. Kapellet ligger ikke langt fra Kongsseteren, der Kongen og Dronningen feirer jul. Oh, YourMaj! She is in the Chrismas spirit and I am here for it! As soon as someone identifies this enormous brooch, we’ll update the post. My favorite Camilla is in fabulous, comfy purple, the Cambridge family – in their debut – is a subtle lesson in family coordination with Kate as a cohesive center, and I have never said this before but I covet every bit of Princess Beatrice’s ensemble.
Does anyone recognize Anne’s brooch and, while you are at it, please tell me if this is a repeat? If it is, she is reaching into the good place in the closet.
We don’t have an embargo on discussing the clothes of children here, but we do ask for a generosity of spirit in doing so. Lets remember that children often have limited input into what they wear to these events and assess accordingly.
Charlotte is her mother’s daughter and probably has a mini-coat closet at Anmer. She also has MIddleton coloring, so green is right on her game.
I wish for a couple of things for Lady Louise. That someone tailor this coat so that she can wear it in the stunning way she wears her riding clothes, and give her a smart headpiece to wear with it. The general idea is there, though. Nice to see Viscount Severn!
Michael MIddleton! What are you doing there? Ah, it’s young George. Don’t worry, George, the crown does not yet weigh heavy on your head, and you look very dapper here at your debut.
