- Reception at the Danish Ambassador’s residence
Prince Henrik, Frederik’s father, lived in Hanoi as a child, and returned for a few years as young man. Frederik and Mary stopped by his home for a few photos. Mary’s dress is from Sandro, and it is described as having a bandana print.

- Morning: Grand Opening of the Denmark – Vietnam Sustainable Energy Conference, followed by various breakout sessions
- Evening: Grand dinner at the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel and gala performance at the Opera House
The Crown Prince and Princess have arrived at the presidential palace. Mary is wearing her open lacework Temperley London dress, a beloved re-wear.
Vietnam’s Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan greeted the couple. Her blue Ao Dai is very beautiful.
In the evening, The Crown Princess arrived in her repeated Etro silk dress. Both she and Crown Prince Frederik gave speeches, which were very well-received. I love Mary’s hair in this simple high bun, and wish we saw this on her more often.
