Open Post – Duchess of Cambridge’s Visit to Denmark

The Duchess of Cambridge is on a two-day working visit to Denmark for the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The Duchess launched the initiative in 2021. It’s also a great convergence of two monarchies during their Jubilee years!

She has some engagements sent for Tuesday and a full day of engagements with Crown Princess Mary on Wednesday.

We don’t have an actual agenda for Tuesday’s activities, so it will be a day of surprises for all of us. Regal Fille has a great in-depth write-up on the background and purpose of the visit, here.

The Duchess has arrived at the Copenhagen airport, ready to do business. Love the bag. She was greeted by the British Ambassador to Denmark, Emma Hopkins, who is wearing one smart suit.

Updated: The Duchess visited the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project (CIMHP), at 3:00 p.m.

The Duchess has arrived at the Play Lab (Legoland) with what could be called a flourish.

Clothing Rollcall:

  • ME&EM frilled blouse
  • Zara Jacket (repeat)
  • Gianvito Rossi Piper 85 Pumps

The full details, including accessories, can be found at UFONoMore.

Here is the agenda for Wednesday’s activities.

The Duchess packed in a surprise early morning visit to a Danish kindergarten. I’ve always suspected she is a high-energy early morning person. That is apparently an H&M sweater, and it does its job as a cozy, warm, and kid-friendly garment.

11:45 a.m. local time: The Queen and The Crown Princess received The Duchess of Cambridge at Amalienborg. The word is Mary is wearing a repeat (we need to go through our recent top ten coat poll for sure!) and Catherine might be in the Catherine Walker “Marine” coat.

I could honestly look at clothes like this all day. This sister act can appear as often as they want to in my royal world.

Some lovely walls inside the Palace. I don’t know if this is Amalienborg or Frederik VIII’s palace. Maybe one of our Danish Baguettes can enlighten us.

Her Majesty made an appearance inside the palace. Love her blouse!

Approximately 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Private luncheon at Frederik VIII’s Palace.

Afternoon: Crown Princess Mary and the Duchess of Cambridge visited a crisis shelter for women.

Clothing Rollcall:

  • Duchess of Cambridge (kindergarten): Mark Kenly Domino Tan Karlotta Sweater, Seeland Woodcock Advanced Jacket (repeat), H&M jeans
  • Duchess of Cambridge: Catherine Walker “Marine Coat” (new)
  • Crown Princess Mary Repeated White Coat
    • Mary’s coat has quite a history! She wore it first in 2005 – with a collar – and it was altered sometime prior to the 2014 trip to Poland. This is super royal rewear.

And like that, it’s all over!
