Open Post – Funeral of King Constantine II

The funeral of King Constantine II will be held at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens today, with the Greek royal family in attendance. His body will lay in state at the Agios Eleftherios Chapel from 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the procession to the Cathedral beginning at 12:00 p.m. The service will be followed by the burial in the Royal Cemetery at Tatoi Palace, which will be private. No press or photographs will be permitted.

King Constantine’s coffin will be carried by the King’s sons and grandsons, Crown Prince Pavlos, Prince Constantine, Prince Achileas, Prince Odysseas, Prince Nikolaos, Prince Philippos, and Princess Theodora’s fiancé, Matthew Kumar.
