The Guests
Royals behind glass! It was a bit rainy but they all appeared neat as bandboxes. How do they do that?
Queen Mathilde and King Philippe. Tils gets top spot because she has simply never looked better. If it is Natan (not confirmed), then he simply has never done better by her. Updated: Not Natan. Armani Prive.
Victoria! That is a Queen. The gown is said to be a repeat Escada.
Maxima, in Natan – that is a LOT of gray. WAX is still rocking the beard hard.
Queen Letizia opted for a floral – an interesting choice for her. I need to think on it. It’s by Matilde Cano, a new to me designer.
Mary, oh Mary. When you cape it up, no one does it better. This has been identified as Valentino, and I am struggling to remember if you have worn him before. If not, that needs to change. You look great, girl, and your necklace is perfection here.
And, look who sat next to Charles!
Such a treat to see these two! Jigme and Jetsun simply warm up the gray gloom by walking across the sidewalk.
The patient Prince of Wales. He is dapper, always.
I have a soft spot for Prince Albert. I think he would be jovial if you met him in person, like a local businessman.
I finally found Haakon! Look to your right.
King Letsie III and Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso of Lesotho on the right side of the frame. Mother and father of Princess Senate ; ). Mswati III of Eswatini on the left.
Grand Duke Henri. You’re welcome, all.
We’ll put up a second post for the banquet later today! Please continue to comment live on this one until we gather together photos for the post.
