The Princess of Asturias Foundation convenes the Princess of Asturias Awards, which are presented at an academic ceremony held each year in Oviedo, capital of the Principality of Asturias. The Foundation’s aims are to contribute to extolling and promoting those scientific, cultural and humanistic values that form part of the universal heritage of humanity and to consolidate the existing links between the Principality of Asturias and the title traditionally held by the heirs to the Crown of Spain.

The event runs from October 21 through October 23, 2021. The program is as follows:

The Spanish Royal Family attended the 29th Princess of Asturias Awards Concert at Prince Felipe Auditorium during the ‘Princess of Asturias Awards 2021’. Infanta Sofia is wearing an Angel Schlesser dress and Martinelli shoes, and Princess Leonor is in an Indira Rios dress. (Gracias, Iselen!)
Laureates Audiences
The King, Queen, Princess, and Infanta attended an audience to congratulate the winners at the Reconquista Hotel. Sofia wears a new dress from Carolina Herrera, Leonor repeats her Vogana dress, and Queen Letizia her Hugo Boss. Thank you again, Iselen!
2021 Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony
The Royal Family attended the Princess of Asturias Award Ceremony in Oviedo, Asturias. Queen Letizia wore a custom-made dress from The 2nd Skin Co, Manolo Blahnik shoes, Bottega clutch, and Joyas de Pasar (earrings and bracelets). Princess Leonor is in a dress from Bgo & Me, and is wearing her gold bamboo earrings. There’s a little family sharing afoot: Infanta Sofia wore a Varela top from mama Letizia, a Psophía skirt, Carolina Herrera shoes, and a bracelet made of silver and black jet. Exemplary Town of Asturias
The family visited Santa Maria del Puerto de Somiedo, which has been honored as the 2021 Best Asturian Village. I am coveting Letizia’s scarf and Sofia’s coat.
Princess Leonor is becoming an expert in speechifying.
