Realm Governors General and Prime Ministers Lunch

Photos are starting to roll in from the Realm Governors General and Prime Ministers Luncheon.

Charles looks to be having a very good time!

William and Kate were there in support. The Princess is thought to be wearing a bespoke dress from one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham.

Doing a Walkabout. I love Kate talking on a well-wisher’s phone. Someone obviously needed proof that their friend was really talking to The Princess of Wales!

Let’s not forget the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh (although the photographers seem to want to). The Duchess is in a Beulah London dress – new!

Small Island and Developing Nations Event

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh also attended the Small Island and Developing Nations Coronation Event at Lancaster House. The Duchess is in a pink re-wear from Suzannah, “The Grecian”.

Reception for Foreign Guests

King Charles somehow keeps going. He was non-stop hand-kissing and schmoozing at the reception for foreign guests, and none of the ladies seemed to mind!

The Prince and Princess of Wales also worked the room. William seemed quite taken with the Thai royals, while the Princess of Wales worked her own brand of charm, wearing a Self-Portrait dress with a crisscross neckline.

Well, we can’t find any photos of the Gloucesters but we finally secured one of the Duchess of Edinburgh, wearing a Beulah London midi dress.

First up, the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark. The Crown Princess is in a re-wear, an Andre WGN midi dress. It’s her Prada clutch that catches my eye, though.

The royal grandmother and granddaughter combination came arm-in-arm. The Princess of Orange is in her Marina Rinaldi suit, with (we think) the pink topaz from her mother’s suite around her neck.

Here’s the royal father/daughter combo from Belgium! The Duchess of Brabant is wearing an Emporio Armani dress.

The Crown Prince and Princess of Japan arrived, looking as fresh as someone who hopped off a red-eye from Japan can look. Those are some lovely lacy sleeves, right?

Ah, a great sigh of relief to see Crown Princess Victoria looking terrific in Roland Mouret and King Carl Gustaf looking very proud.

The King and Queen of Spain are in the house. Queen Letizia is wearing a Victoria Beckham dress, an interesting choice for her. I believe it’s a first. She is also wearing one of the three Bow Brooches (the modern one!), just to make the brooch brigade happy.

As I mentioned in the comments, Princess Charlene brought the glamour for those of us who needed a dose tonight.

The very good-looking Norwegian Crown Princely couple arrived looking cheerful and more importantly, healthy. In a move that is sure to provoke conversation, the Crown Princess chose an Alexander McQueen jacket.

Ah, be still my heart. Here’s a little glamour in the form of Queen Suthida of Thailand.

The King and Queen of Bhutan should be invited everywhere just for an injection of color and beauty. I love that Jetson seems to be having a mini-tiara moment.

Lalla Meryem is representing her brother, the King of Morocco. The green on that caftan is just deep and dreamy, and just what I needed to set me up for tomorrow’s events.

Gold shoes seem to be the thing these days. The King and Queen of Jordan are here! I don’t have an ID on her dress yet, but it sure it flattering.

The Greeks, who are close family friends as well as fellow royals, brought three members. Queen Anne Marie wore a Max Mara shirtwaist and Princess Marie Chantal is in Mary Katrantzou.

Oh, bless, you Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. After an eye-popping turn at your daughter’s wedding, you bring a tiara to this reception? The Grand Duchess wore the Peacock tiara in necklace form and a black royal lady pantsuit from Alexander McQueen (a re-wear).

Private Dinner at Oswalds

There was no rest for any of the royals. After the reception, the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh held a private dinner for the visiting royals at Oswalds in Mayfair, and we got a few glimpses of the extended royal family.
