While we are waiting for photos, let’s take a gander at previous royal tours of the region.

Day One – Arrival

The eagle(s) have landed. The Duke and Duchess arrived in Belize for their first official tour of the Caribbean. They were greeted by Governor-General Froyla Tzalam and her husband Daniel Mendez. Kate’s dress is a Jenny Packham (I sometimes wonder if that designer LIVES with her ; ). It’s very Packham, too, with a deep neckline, lace, and 3/4 sleeves.

The couple stopped by the Laing Building for an official greeting from the Prime Minister, John Antonio Briceño, and his wife Rossana Briceno.

The very deep blue of the dress reflects the deep blue of the host country flag.

Day Two

The schedule for Day Two is:

  •  Visiting a cacao producer to learn more about Belize’s world-famous Maya chocolate making
  • Spending time with the Garifuna culture in Hopkins
  • Learning more about Belize’s marine conservation efforts and incredible marine environment

The cocoa farm was privately owned, and it replaced the original stop, which was canceled due to local protests. The Duchess wore a new smocked Tory Burch dress and a pair of brilliant blue hoop earrings by Sezane.

The lovely brilliant colors of the local clothing are just so refreshing after a gray winter!

I think the couple enjoyed their stop at Hopkins village!

It’s a good thing these two are high-energy, right? They immediately set to some diving to see the second-largest barrier reef in the world.

Day Three

The Duke and Duchess visited the Caracol Mayan archaeological site in the Chiquibul Forest Reserve. The Duchess stayed cool in John Lewis & Partners Double Front Scoop Neck Top, paired with green jeans.

The pair visited with  the British Army Training Support Unit (BATSUB) at the Chiquibul Forest Reserve, in Good Living Camp, Belize. The Duchess paired her earlier outfit with a new safari-style jacket by Scotch & Soda.

For the evening reception, the Duchess wore a gown from The Vampire’s Wife. Since it’s not a brand I am fond of, I’ll simply say it is a vivid spot of brightness against the lush landscape, isn’t it? It’s a sort of flowing hot pink river. And I need to get a closer shot of the earrings.

Day Four

The eagles have now departed beautiful Belize and headed to Jamaica, and the blue has been traded for crisp red and white. WARNING. The Handbag and LiL really like this outfit – to an almost unseemly degree. It’s definitely a seventies vibe, but the Duchess has updated it to a very modern, chic effect.

The red Yves Saint Laurent jacket is being described as vintage, but that’s only true if your definition of the term is something bought several years back. Kate Middleton-as-she-was purchased it in her St. Andrew’s university days and has paired it with McQueen flared trousers. I particularly like the chic ponytail and earring (possibly by Anthropologie) combination. Also, note the bold lip!

…and off the plane in yellow. She’s wearing the Roksanda ‘Brigitte’ dress in yellow, a short sleeve bespoke version of their RTW collection. She has changed earrings to a pair by Sezane, and now we can see her AQUAZZURA shoes.

The couple visited Trench Town, the birthplace of reggae music, in Kingston, Jamaica. They paid a visit to the Trench Town Culture Yard Museum where Bob Marley used to live.  Per the talented Heaven at UFONoMore, we believe Kate’s summery dress is Willow Hilson Vintage. The shoes are from Russell & Bromley.

This is excellent lipstick deployment. If only someone could suss out the brand and shade I’d be happy.

Some mock bobsledding!

Day Five

The itinerary has been released:

This morning Prince William & Kate will:

  • Meet the Jamaican PM
  • Visit a teacher college
  • Meet doctors and nurses at a hospital
  • Travel to Montego Bay to meet the Jamaican Defence Force
  • Be hosted by the Governor General at a dinner

The Duke and Duchess have started the day with the Jamaican PM. The crisp and bold color combinations continue. The Duchess is wearing a McQueen suit and an orange Ridley blouse. I don’t much about that handbag yet but we are on the case!

The PM, Andrew Holness, and his wife Juliet Holness, posed with the couple. I am in love with the gorgeous dress on Ms. Holness.

First glimpse of the Duchess tonight! Jenny Packham in green, and very princessy. We will be chatting about this tomorrow!

Day Six

LiL here with the update, so believe me when I say details will be sorely lacking! LOL

The Duchess of Cambridge wore McQueen and a Philip Treacy hat as she and William attended the inaugural Commissioning Parade for service personnel from across the Caribbean who have recently completed the Caribbean Military Academy’s Officer Training Program at Jamaica Defense Force.

They left Jamaica not long after, and boarded a plane for the next stop, which is The Bahamas. Kate wore an Emilia Wickstead green dress, and the Queen’s hummingbird brooch, gifted to her on her 2002 visit to Jamaica.

Stay tuned for their arrival in The Bahamas!

Which is apparently now! That didn’t take long. Another Emillia Wickstead dress. More photos and info as it rolls out.

The Duke and Duchess met with the Prime Minister of The Bahamas, Philip Davis, and his wife Ann-Marie Davis at his office in Nassau.

Someone looks excited!

Day Seven

Are you guys tired yet? I’m sure the Cambridges are but they aren’t showing it! The first stop today was at a Junkanoo carnival in Parliament Square. Kate wore Self-Portrait Faux pearl-embellished pleated chiffon midi dress. The carnival was incredible!

Then it was off to the Bahamas Platinum Jubilee Sailing Regatta at Montagu Bay.

It’s a flowing Philippa Lepley ice blue gown for the Duchess tonight, at a reception hosted by the Governor-General of the Bahamas, Cornelius A. Smith. The Duchess was carrying a Lulu Guinness Hayworth Clutch, and she accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. There were some glittery pumps on display, too.

I agree. The Duchess looked great but Lady Davies just stole the show. Beautiful.

Day Eight

On the last day of their trip, the Duke and Duchess visited Great Abaco island. They attended a gathering at Daystar Evangelical Church, paid respects to hurricane victims at the Memorial Wall, attended a fish fry, and visited a children’s home. The Duchess wore a new pink pleated shirtdress by Rixo.

And just like that, the tour is over. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrapped up their tour of the Caribbean on Saturday night, with Kate wearing a belted yellow floral peplum dress by Alessandra Rich.
