The Royal Family isn’t slowing down following the events of earlier this week. They are spreading out over the British Isles in the coming days.
King Charles and Queen Camilla headed to Highgrove after the procession to Westminster Hall for hopefully a day or two of rest and reflection. They will be heading to Wales on Friday for the final visit of their whistle-stop tour of the UK.
The Prince and Princess of Wales (that is really weird to type) will head to Sandringham today to view the tributes left to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence will visit Glasgow to meet representatives of organizations of which The Queen was patron.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex will hop over to Manchester to light a candle in memory of The Queen.
Vigil of the Princes will be held on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. local time. The vigil will last for 15 minutes.
The King, the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and the Earl of Wessex will mount guard at the four corners of the catafalque in Westminster Hall for the 15-minute vigil. All will be in military uniform, including Prince Andrew, who as a non-working royal has been granted dispensation to wear uniform for this most personal of gestures.
