Popping up so we can talk tiaras tonight! The Dutch have arrived for their three-day visit to Belgium: the banquet will be held tonight. Post your photos and comments, and we’ll be around with whatever official photos and IDs we can drum up later.

I hope we get some closer official shots because the ladies and gents brought the party with them tonight. Queen Maxima is in the full Stuart configuration of her tiara (without the big Stuart diamond) and Queen Mathilde brought out the Nine Provinces tiara. The Dutch Queen’s dress is new, by Jan Taminiau, and the Belgian Queen is wearing what I believe to be a new gown, by Armani Privé, Armani’s couture house.
There were more fabulous gowns and jewels on the second night. QueenT managed to sneak in a tiara around her neck.
