Royals got together to support their shared causes and we have a conundrum on our hands. Who do we start with on this convergence post? With the print brigade or team monochrome? Eh……I’m in a bit of a print funk so let’s start with solid colors.
The Princess Royal and Duchess of Cambridge
Catherine, Patron of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), and Anne, Patron of the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), undertook an engagement at RCM and RCOGs headquarters to discuss improving women’s healthcare and outcomes.
Princess Anne, as we know, has no problem reaching into her no doubt well-cataloged wardrobe to pull out an ensemble for any occasion. It’s amazing that every item, even if not fashionable, is well pressed and immaculately preserved. I suspect this one came from sector 4G, the blue section.
Kate is no less immaculately turned out, but her putty suit from Self Portrait is far newer.
The Swedes and the Brits
Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Beatrice, and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attended the World Dyslexia Assembly Sweden in Stockholm. This unusual convergence came about because the event was organized by the Prince Couple Foundation and the British organization Made By Dyslexia.
Princess Beatrice wore her Zimmermann ‘Whitewave’ dress and Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps, plus some truly zhuzzed up hair. Edo seemed to wonder how he was ported into this crazy world of royals.
Sofia printed it up in a By Malina dress, Stinaa.J pumps, and a Bolinder Stockholm bag.
I threw this in here as a gift to some of you. You know who you are.
Bonus! Hetero of the Year Award
Some of you have been jonesing for some nice bright colors, so we added on a bonus here. Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia handed out the “Hetero of the Year” award at the QX gala. Sofia was brilliantly pink in a Lars Wallin Neck Bow Ruffled Gown and her Clara Fina “Love Rain” earrings. (H/T to UFO NoMore!)
What do you think of all of our convergences? Let us know in the comments!
