Random Royal Rotogravure – Glamorous Danes

We are throwing this out to the Baguette and Hofdude hive mind.

Princess Margrethe, Count Henri De Monpezat; Queen Ingrid, King Frederik; Princess Benedikte, and Prince Richard Wittgenstein Berleburg are all photographed here looked fabulously glamorous. Who do you think designed the dresses, though?

For some reason, these don’t look like the work of Jørgen Bender, who started designing for the royal women circa 1963/1964. This photo dates before Princess Margrethe and Princess Benedikte’s marriages, which were in 1967 and 1968. So it’s possible at least a couple of these were early in his work with the family, but I’m not convinced.

What do you think? Balmain? Possibly. That’s the name I’m throwing into the ring.
