Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 71th Monaco Red Cross Ball Gala. Charlene wore a green – a very green – Marchesa gown. Marchesa describes this as a “cape-effect” crepe gown, but I would classify it as an actual cape, myself. I really like the draping that results in the cutout neckline. Be sure to click through the slideshow to see the dramatic effect from the back.
I am also highly intrigued by these delicate earrings and the change-up of the hairstyle. It’s a nice soft effect against the stark tailored gown.

What say you about this? A cape? A cape-effect? A good decision or not?
