Last night the Governor-General of Jamaica, Sir Patrick Linton-Allen, hosted a dinner for the visiting royal couple. The Duchess floated in on a sea of Jenny Packham frothy green. The gown has a ruffle shoulder detail (or mucho floofo, according to a couple of Hofdames) and light crystal embellishment on the bodice and full skirt. It also has SWISH in the skirt, which some of you have been missing. She wore a pair of earrings and bracelet loaned by the Queen from the Emerald Tassel Parure, the Royal Family Order, and the GCVO Star.
We don’t talk about political figures TOO much here, but a shout out to Patricia Allen, Lady Allen, who looks terrific here and is a person of great accomplishment in her own right.
I am truly appreciating the Duchess’s bolder lipstick choices, too.
