This is a surprise Saturday post! We are so darn busy next week, which is a short week anyway. This event just cries out for its own feature.
The Monaco royals and royal-adjacents gathered together today to celebrate their National Day. The day starts with a Te Deum service held at the Monaco Cathedral, which is the first event of official celebrations. I will add clothing identifications as they roll in, but right now just enjoy the photos. Whatever you say about the Monacos, they are not dull.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene are up first. Look, I am just so happy to Charlene looking so darn healthy that I gloss over her ensembles. This one should go into the mixed up Hofdame files for a future Defense of the Dress. It is a custom Akris and the hat is by Stephen Jones (H/T to the Royal Couturier).
Hey brooch lovers! Check this out. Van Cleef & Arpels is doing a brisk business with royals lately.
#NEW Princess Charlene is wearing a new brooch from Van Cleef and Arples called “Snowflake nœud” for Monaco’s National Day 💎🇲🇨

Princes Jacques and Princess Gabriella are their parent’s mini-mes. I love Gabriella’s hat. Love love love.
New orders for the twins, too.
Milestones for the Monaco twins: Hereditary Prince Jacques is wearing for the first time the police uniform (he usually wore the carabinieri’s one) with the star of the Order of Grimaldi and Princess Gabriella is wearing for the first time the Order of Grimaldi as a medal 🎖️🇲🇨 pic.twitter.com/xhlr6xHWte

Princesses Stephanie and Caroline
Royal sisters Stephanie and Caroline are there in support as usual. Caroline is definitely wearing Chanel, her usual, and although I don’t have an identification on Stephanie’s suit she looks terrific.
The Extended Family
Pierre and Beatrice Casiraghi and their sons really stood out because of La BB’s bold color statement. I don’t have a firm identification on this ensemble, but it pings Dior very strongly.
I believe Charlotte is in Chanel, like her mother.
The Monacos always show up as a family for this event, and it must be fun for the cousins to get together on a balcony with an adoring public! Not like my family cookouts but it’s how they roll.
I really hope to get a closer look at Tatiana Santo Domingo’s ensemble because it’s pinging “absolute delight” to me. (H/T to Polka Popp for the photos and identification below).

Princess Alexandra’s coat is by Khaite, who is a new-to-use designer. Pretty slick, although I do long for hems to come up about six inches. Not just here, but all around.

Evening Gala
In the evening, the adults gussied up to attend the Gala at the Grimaldi Forum during the Monaco National Day. Thanks to UFONoMore (head over there for better photos) we have some identifications. Princess Charlene is in custom Terrance Bray, Princess Caroline is wearing Chanel, Tatiana Casiraghi is in Saloni, and Charlotte Casiraghi is also in Chanel.
