The Jordanian royals, King Abdullah, Queen Rania, and Crown Prince Hussein, just concluded an official visit to Japan. The level of formality was lower than a state visit, but there was still a lot of pretty on offer.
The group met with the Emperor and Empress to start the trip. Queen Rania wore a dress by a Moroccon-Dutch designer named Benchellal, who studied fashion design at the Mode Lyceum and founded his couture house in 2005. You may remember him as Queen Maxima’s 2022 Prinsjesdag dress designer. For her part, the Empress glowed in a pale silk suit.
For a meeting with the prime minister’s wife, Mrs. Yuko Kishida, the Queen chose a lilac body shirt and skirt by Zimmermann.

A visit to the National Museum of Art found the Queen in an Alexandre Vauthier royal lady pantsuit. The exaggerated waist and hip detail give it that Rania edge.
