Koningsdag is April 27, but as it was in the before times, there are several events leading up to the day itself. Yesterday was the King’s Day concert in Rotterdam. Princesses Beatrix and Laurentien accompanied the King and Queen as they usually do, but we also had nice surprise appearances from Princess Amalia and Princess Ariane.
The Queen wore her Rebecca Ravenel evening gown, which she debuted in September 2019. The gown is printed chiffon with a high jewel neckline. I think her earrings steal the show here.
Princess Amalia is wearing a dress by LK Bennett and a pair of earrings borrowed from her mother. Ariane is very chic in a Sandro Paris suit.
It’s nice to have a couple more royals to follow, isn’t it? I am taken by Princess Amalia’s Aquazzura sandals, which add some zazz to the proceedings. I am also taken by the lovely, sparkling smile of Princess Ariane.
Speaking of zazz, Princess Laurentien is eye-catching, right? I would have chosen a different color belt, but overall I am digging this entry into the Laurentiendrobe. Princess Beatrix is very much herself and very appreciated. However, once she removed her coat you could see a little Beazazz in her sleeves.
