Random Royaling – Princess Beatrix in October

I’ve missed cake hats and hat pins. We’ve reviewed a couple of these appearances in Bits and Bobs, but for full Oma Impact let’s look at her October work in full.

On the first of the month, she opened Windmils Molenviergang. I like this brimmed hat with its pearl hatpin. I also like her sassy giggle. She wore a cozy shawl over her printed dress, and I might have to look into one of those for the late autumn.

No hat here, but there is a beautiful deep green ensemble that just says “Autumn is here” to me. The Princess attended the 65th-anniversary celebration of the Princess Beatrix Muscle Foundation.

The Princess attended the 90th anniversary of the association of Women of Nu, an organization that promotes the strength of individual women. Cake hat alert, with a double (possibly pearl) hatpin to boot. I like the seasonal color scheme here very much.

Shades of blue alert! I am deeply soothed by the colors here. The hat is fabulous – check out that band detail, and the coordinating hat pin. The Princess appeared at the opening of the Prince Claus bridge, which is open to bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
