She turned 82 last week, which is sort of unbelievable if you follow her activities. In the past five days alone Sonja visited the Helgeland Festival, attended the opening of the 818 foot rock stairs called Helgelandstrappa, and appeared the official opening of The Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival.
Red and white were the order of the day, and the practical aspects of these outfits cannot be denied. However, I think the white suit is also crisp and fresh, and I may have mentioned the adorable-ness of the red poncho earlier. She looks ready to take on another 82 years.
My hat is off to you, Sonja, and I hope you took off a few hours to eat some cake and drink a glass of champagne.
