For the first time in its 108 year history, the RHS is postponing RHS Chelsea Flower Show to take place in the autumn instead of spring, due to the worldwide pandemic. The 2021 Show, which would have taken place between 18 May and 23 May, has been moved to run from 21 September to 26 September. The RHS, the Show organisers, will still hold the world famous event at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea.

The show eventually did go on. Press Day was yesterday, September 20, and we had a significant royal contingent on hand.
I’m enjoying Princess Anne’s coat with-a-garden-landscape. It’s a lovely color and shows off her perenially trim figure to perfection.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex made it a date afternoon. Sophie’s dress is the only one we have an ID on – it’s Victoria Beckham – but unfortunately that’s about all I want to say about it. They did look like they were having fun, though.
Princess Alexandra is my winner for the day. She has been wearing pink the past few times we have seen her and it suits her. She is sui generis, can we say anything else?
I could not for the life of me find a decent photo of the Duchess of Gloucester. The polka dots seem promising.
We don’t see these two crazy kids often, so it was a surprise to find so many photos of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Princess Mike’s coat is a great color, but it’s the Prince’s blue and pink color combination that draws my eye in.
There is always some fun fashion on display at the show, both on the folks who are part of the event and on the visitors. Can you spot the world famous attendee? Hint: It’s not hard ; ).
Glad to see the show back? Let us know your thoughts!
