The Spanish royals, nuclear family division, attended the opening of the Spanish Parliament at the Palace of Cortes. As usual, the family group was impeccably coordinated. I really need to find out who manages the wardrobes in the palace because they do an outstanding job for these occasions. Of course, they have have great genetic material to work with.
Queen Letizia wore a dress that was either white or off-white, depending on the light, with her repeated Carolina Herrera cashmere cape and Magrit snakeskin pumps (which I think she wore to please our OC).
She wore spectacular pearl drop earrings that are similar to the diamond and pearl drop earrings from Queen Sofia, although I am not sure if these are the same. I leave the decision up to our jewel detectives.
As usual, the hair game on all three Spanish ladies was fabulous, but I admit to mourning the end of the era of braids for Leonor. Those were some fabulous years, but I understand everyone needs and wants to grow up. Sigh.
Both Regal Fille and New My Royals have their posts up on this event, with some additional close-ups. This photo from Casa Real shows the dresses under the coats, and I think, once again, that Infanta Sofia is my winner.
