It’s always good to get a glimpse of Mette-Marit. She and Haakon attended a talk between the Crown Princess and author Geir Gulliksen. Mette-Marit sported the Pia Tjelta Alicia Dress and some throwback specs, looking as animated as book-talk makes her.
Haakon sported his handsome hunky self. He is still acting as regent as Harald continues to recuperate.
New official portraits of Laurentien and Constantijn have been released. A very toned down and conservative Laurentien, but one with a great hairstyle. Constantijn is cracking me up here, but in a good way. It’s good to be a prince of the realm.
You know, why not? Let’s throw in a surprise pop-up tiara appearance, thanks to Tiara Mania. I know, not even royal adjacent this time, but we are starved for tiara events. The tiara is the bride’s family tiara, and was previously worn by her great grandmother. Her dress is very different from Flora Ogilvy’s gown, but I think it works just as well in a different way.
If you are interested in exactly who these folks are, here are the details.
