King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia presented the Miguel de Cervantes Literature prize to Ida Vitale, a Uruguayan poet born in 1923. This is the highest literary honor a writer from a Spanish-speaking nation can achieve. Letizia is wearing a swinging Carolina Herrera ensemble that I find to be the highest of chic, but if trapeze coats aren’t your thing, then at least appreciate that Felipe is dressed up to the nines to award this prestigious prize. Love that tie.
Drink in Felipe. Seriously, other than Charles, what royal man dresses with such panache?
Both look absolutely thrilled to meet Ms. Vitale, as well they should.
So what do you think? Too much coat? Let us know in the comments!
