We are dropping a very quick summer Random Royaling in here. We can all use some cool, pretty summer dresses in the latter part of July, right?
Charles and Camilla just wrapped up a three-day visit to Cornwall. They attended a reception to celebrate the launch of The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s Confident Rural Communities Network at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery. Camilla wore her usual summery prints, and I thought the dress worn to this event was especially effective. Bright, easy to wear and to see.
The Princes and Duchess were seen leaving Exeter Cathedral. Another print for Camilla, this time one decorated liberally with a feather pattern. It too seems easy to wear and is easy on the eyes. It certainly gained the approval of the girl behind her, and when the younguns smile at you, you know you have scored a point or two.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex dropped in for a visit to the McLaren team garage at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. Sophie wore a new sleeveless dress from Alaïa, and I feel greatly relieved to tell you that the length is working just fine for me. She looks terrific.
Let us know what you think of the summer dresses.
