The Nobel ceremonies will be held in Oslo and Stockholm today. For the second year, they are smaller and less formal due to pandemic restrictions, but there will be appearances by royals.
If you are interested in following along, there is a live stream here. The ceremony in Oslo starts at 1:00 p.m. local time, and the ceremony in Stockholm is at 4:15 p.m. local time.
Oslo – Nobel Peace Prize
King Harald, Queen Sonja, and Crown Prince Haakon attended the ceremony at Oslo City Hall. If you are a fan of a netted hat, Queen Sonja has you covered. She was wearing her cozy Emilio Pucci deep plum suit, which must have kept her warm in the city hall.

Stockholm
The scaled-back ceremonies still gave us a few things to talk about. Queen Silvia wore new-to-us earrings and a new gown, which we speculate is silk velvet. The Crown Princess wore a Pär Engsheden black cocktail dress and a pair of Engelbert earrings. She went the Queen Maxima route and pinned one of the family’s heirloom floral brooches to the waist of her dress.
