All right, let’s get started on the things we missed and the things that are worth another glance. It was quite a week, lots of STUFF. You can scroll right through to read it all or use the table of contents to jump to your area of interest.
Belgium
Tils was everywhere this week. If I didn’t know better, I would think she was the royal Ninja of Belgium, appearing at one event after another without relying on time-consuming conveyances, like cars. So….she attended the Women’s Award, visited a primary school and took a jaunt to Antwerp with her husband. I think she foofed out her hair a bit more, too ; ).
Spain
My heavens, I love Leti at a podium. Evita Peron could take lessons in presence from her. The Queen was on a solo outing in Paracuellos del Jarama near Madrid. She presented the National Flag to the “Napoles” Infantry Regiment No. 4 of Paratroopers. The Queen is wearing a repeat Felipe Varela dress and I am more in love with it than ever.
Then the Queen morphed into Downtown Leti and hit the ARCO Arts Fair.
Britain
Charles works constantly, Andrew is close behind. We could fill the Recap with them every week all week. I chose this event because I like the uneasy software royalty hanging with British royalty. The cause is worthy, ending malaria, and the Gates Foundation has made great strides in that area. Bill, however, always looks sheepish when dragged from serious biz to appearing with royalty.
Eugenie, leaning into her career and wearing the royal lady pantsuit that I could totally see on Victoria. This isn’t all she’s doing, and our LiL is working on a post covering more of her activities.
Beatrice, not to be outdone, also did some speechifying in service of the GSMA Mobile World Conference. I think this works for her, even though head to toe black is not typically something I recommend for a redhead. More to come on her, too!
Sophster sighting! She visited a classroom of kids in Somerset. OK, I can’t say I adore the coat in these shots but the dress underneath looks promising. The kids were thrilled with the cheerful countess.

Bhutan
I told LiL if I could I would feature something from Bhutan every week; their images are really just that beautiful. His Royal HIghness , The Gyalsey, along with this gorgeous creature, his grandmother, stopped to admire the flowers at the 5th Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition. Click through the photo to see Jetsun Pema’s Facebook album full of photos from all this fabulousness. Then try not to book your plane ticket.
