If it can be said there is a bright spot in the midst of a global pandemic then I suppose all these glimpses of the royal studies could be it. Let’s peek in.
Belgium
I get a little giggle out of Tils and Phil trying to find comfortable spots in their palace to video conference. What were those palace architects thinking, not adding modern offices to the mix? Phil is at yet another table (it might be a different view of the same one), and Tils is parked in the same situation. She has the issue I have, how far away do you have to push that laptop to actually see the screen without your glasses? Also, why are there table cloths everywhere?
Britain
Yes! My wish was granted! Cams in her study and it’s every bit as good as I dreamed. Do you have good eyes? Can you tell me what is on her bookshelves?
Charles at work in Scotland, probably Birkhall. I think the Queen Mum decorated this and it has not been touched since, but I am also not complaining. It’s exactly the way I envision Scotland. Again, we see some jerry-rigging to get the laptop at the right height – I can relate.
Not a room, but a front stoop and some adorable pups. I simply couldn’t resist adding it.
Ok, these two play it close to the vest and don’t let us in too much. I am still enchanted with their delighted expressions. Now we know they like gold framed landscapes – or their decorator does.
Luxembourg
Working together!
Norway
I am simply dying of envy here. This is the best living room yet. Haakon and MM are working together on the same laptop (marital bliss there) and I am having severe decorating envy.
Sweden
More books! Keep it coming, I say!
This Swedish spring light (all Scandinavian light, really) needs to be bottled and sent to me pronto.
