Royal Shares and Re-wears – Letizia in Carolina Herrera

Hofdame Note: Thank you to Iselen for the information in this post!

Last week, Queen Letizia attended the “Luis Carandell” Awards for Parliamentary Journalism. As a former journalist herself, she has a particular interest in these events. She wore a repeated Carolina Herrara dress, one that is so good she owns it in two colors.

The red version is a bespoke edition, and as is her custom with most of her clothes, she’s worn it several times. For the award ceremony, she stuck to red hues with her Magrit clutch and pumps, and a pair of cabochon danglers. It was previously worn in a family portrait. If you would like to see some of the other previous outings, the Queen Letizia blog has you covered.

The blue version, which is from the collection, was worn in a portrait with the King. We can’t see too many of the accessories here, but the different color brings an entirely different effect.

Can’t get enough Herrera? Yesterday, on the first day of an official trip to Vienna, the Queen wore a new Herrera design, an oversized black coat. The dress underneath is a Pedro Del Hierro Houndstooth midi.
