Royal Shares and Rewears – Queens and Princesses

We have a few slightly “out of the box” rewears for you today. Ready?

Queen Letizia

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia appeared at the closing ceremony of the X edition of the “Promociona Project. She is wearing a relatively new designer for her, “Is Coming”. The remarkable thing about these separates is that I initially thought they were a blouse and skirt combination, but that is a sweater, folks. She accessorized with a pair of mauve shoes, Roses & Gold earrings, and her new ring from Felipe. (H/T to our own Iselen and to the Queen Letizia Style blog).

It seems like an eternity ago, but October 2021 was only a year and a half in the past. Remember when the Queen traveled to Switzerland to open the Goya exhibit? This entire outfit was worn then, too, only paired with citrine earrings.

I wish I could tuck in a sweater and look sleek, but that is not among my skills.

Crown Princess Mary

When the Crown Princess goes arty she leans in – and in this case she leaned into a rewear. Yesterday, she visited  Danish Cancer Society’s new visitor center “udForsk”. It’s a space designed to foster creativity in science. Mary wore her Mark Kenly Domino Tan unstructured grey vest (and a welcome royal lady ponytail). She also rewore her Prada boots.

She wore the vest previously in January 2022 while visiting the preparations for her 50th birthday exhibit.

Princess of Wales

The Princess is not known for venturing super far out of her comfort zone, so adding a plaid is about as wild as you’re gonna get. The Wales couple “matched it up” for a visit to the LIverpool University Hospital. Catherine is wearing her Holland Cooper Double Breasted coat (Blackwatch).

This is at least the third outing of this coat. She debuted it in 2021 at an event to mark the British Legion’s centenary (with Colonel Blum and girl guide Emily), and wore it last December for a tree planting ceremony in honor of the late Queen.
