ROYGBIV: Red

In the United States, one traditional way of teaching children their colors is to employ the acronym “ROY G BIV”. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Sure, we’ve also got white, silver, gold, pink, not to mention a few other color ranges, but let’s start with the basics, shall we? Let’s do Red.

We’ll start with Sweden, because LuckeyGirl would have my head if we didn’t. Crown Princess Victoria wore this fantastic red gown by her wedding dress designer Pär Engesheden to the 2014 Nobel Awards Ceremony and it.was.glorious.

La Reina de España wears A LOT of red. And she wears it well. I’ve gone with her Felipe Varela dress worn to the state banquet in Britain from July 2017. Sparkly and fit for a Queen.
