It’s Friday, so let’s take a look at some neckines! We are doing these roughly in order from my favorite to my least liked, so the square is now up. Not that it really needs to be described, but let’s throw a definition out there for Friday fun sakes:
“This has a strong, defined shape to it. A “SQUARE NECKLINE dips down and has the sharp structured outline of a square. Goes well for stiff fabrics, designs, and garments”
With that out of the way, let’s just dive in. Like the portrait and shawl neckines, I find this almost a univerally flattering style. It works on many ages and body styles, it can be dressed up with jewels or pared back for a minimalist effect. It rocks and rolls, folks.
Daisy is the Queen of the Square Neckline. She knows how to accessorize it, too!
Queen Sofia did the classic neckline clip look, and added a brooch, sash pin AND a major pearl necklace. The neckline holds them all up, though.
Our Classic Queens are all over this style.
It’s not just the classics, though. The younger set can work it as well. This is a lovely minimal take.
Now it’s your turn to spam the square folks!
