We have a new mascot! The handsome Turlough Mór (pronounced “Tur-Lock more”) is now the Irish Guards mascot. He has been named after King Turlough Mór of Connaught, who ruled as High King of Ireland from 1136 to 1156. The pup, who is already six months old, will be known as Séamus during his off hours.

Just released, a video from the Irish Foreign Ministry. Some familiar faces will pop up.
We have a saying in the Irish language: 'Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine'
Meaning we live in each other's shadows.
It speaks to the interdependence of our world
Thank you to friends around the🌍 for these special #StPatricksDay greetings #GRMA

Let’s welcome our new pup with some photos of our favorite previous St. Patrick’s Day visits with the royals. Dogs! Shamrock corsages! Lots of green. Do it up in the comments.
