Harry Fights the Good Fight…

…..and almost wins.

His wife gets all the sartorial headlines, so let’s be contrarians and turn our gaze to her husband.

Serious take: He has a good rapport with the people at events, doesn’t he? Pro that he is, he also knows a good photo op – cheeky Harry in boxing mode is positive press.

Sartorial take: For a redhead, he looks good in grey, and it makes a nice change up from his usual shades of blue. The overcoat can stay, but he may want to think about going for a different, more substantial trouser. I draw the line at the shoes-that-show-up everywhere. My verdict is that the overall effect is a nice change, but I am almost at the point of begging the Prince to find something else to clad his feet.

Camilla Loves Her Cape…

….and she wears it all the time!

Serious take: The Duchess of Cornwall supports the use of community spaces, important in a world where isolation is becoming more of an issue every day, particularly in some age groups, and consistently among men.

Sartorial take: Camilla can’t get enough of her new cape, it seems. I hope it’s practical for getting in and out of cars and such. I personally am just happy that it lines up with waistband of her ensemble. I feel it’s all I can ask of something she holds so dear. In other news: pleats are back. The boots are great.
